Secret Location

Image
Greetings! I am writing this in a secret location. My two owners are outside and I fear that they may try to get me to swim again. Please make no mistake...the pool is not my friend. As I write to you, paws tapping away on the typewriter, I am snacking on my new favorite guilty pleasure. No more shall I spend nights watching "Rock of Love" or even "The Bachelor" on Monday nights. I now pass the minutes by enjoying tiny morsels of fried potatoes, tossed in salt and vinegar, better known as Salt and Vinegar chips. Have you tried these? I adore them. And while they are the reason that I have gained 5 pounds, and cannot float while swimming, I must share their delicacy with you. With tainted breath, whiskers stained with salt, I tell you: I am back, hotties!

El Toro's Guilty Pleasure

Shhh, come a little bit closer. As I type this Pequeno is asleep and I am in a haze of pure delight. My owners are busy working and I have taken control of the television. As my paws anxiously try to push the buttons on the remote control I come across my most pleasurable guilty pleasure. I write this hoping that Pequeno does not wake up and witness what is going on. If she were to awaken and see Rock of Love on the television she would begin to berate me. You see, Pequeno is the type of dog that watches the History Channel and the Discovery Channel, she does not believe in the merits of reality t.v. I must enjoy this hobby alone. Alas, I have to leav

The Grand Lie

I am writing this entry looking out the window with the taste of freedom still fresh on my tongue. El Toro is asleep as usual. For her, freedom is simply the ability to live with adequate food, water, and shelter. I however, had much greater aspirations for my own liberation. I have been siting on this bench, which is located next to a large window, watching the snow fall for the past two days outside. I had dreamt about seeing the world outside many times when I was at the mill. I imagined running on the velvety green grass as it brushed my underbelly while I pranced in a field, a backyard, or even a city park. I once had hoped that when freedom had found me that I would visit a lovely coffee shop and smell the bold aroma of cocoa beans and cinnamon, even if just from right outside the door because dogs are not allowed inside. Damn you Luongo, the lying Dachshund who told me stories of hope while in captivity, of his life before he was taken to the mill. He never mentioned t

Introducing Pequeno Frijoles and El Toro Loco

Image
Hola! We are El Toro Loco and Pequeno Frijoles. We are the successors of Stefanie. We have led a coup to take over this blog and we are here to deliver pertinent information for puppy mill dogs everywhere. Recently, we were rescued by the Miller/Wielkopolan/Iaquinta households and we couldn't be happier. We were born and raised in horrible conditions, saved by the wonderful Indian Creek Sanctuary, and adopted out to our fantastic families. While we could dwell on our dark past we choose to live a life of wonderful adventures that include walks, toys, treats, and love. We are here to bring you our brand new blog titled: The Sassy Adventures of El Toro Loco and Pequeno Frijoles! Welcome. We hope you enjoy the show.
